What is the Rising Stars In Ophthalmology series?

Rising Stars in Ophthalmology is an educational initiative that shares the talents of ophthalmologists newer to the field with the ophthalmology world while discussing important, up-to-date topics important to every clinician in the field.

Rising Stars launched Series 1 in 2020 which consisted of 9 LIVE episodes held virtually, and consisted of a panel of expert celebrities in ophthalmology who joined together in the discussion and mentored the featured Rising Star lecturers. Season 2 will launch in August of 2021 and will continue the tradition of Rising Stars!

  • Showcasing new and innovative technologies on a global platform.
  • These highly interactive episodes will provide a sense of community to everyone involved that may have not been able to attend a live event due to the restrictions the pandemic caused. We provide a place to connect, learn and laugh where valuable pearls are exchanged between expert, seasoned panelists and fresh, new talent in the ophthalmology field.
